Santa Teresa is very close to Montezuma, Cobano, Cabuya and Malpais. The area between Santa Teresa and Malpais is called Playa Carmen. The area where you see the T coming from Cobano, to the right being the road to ST and to the left MP, that part is Playa Carmen. I have lived and worked there for a while and love it. Regardless of what everyone else might be saying, the best thing to me is the fact that you do not have too much tourism based activities which allows the locals and the vacationers to mingle and get to know each others. In Manuel Antonio, you may not have the locals check the national park as every day tripper seems to, but you will see all walks of life which are present in Santa Teresa enjoy the national surf competitions and other events as well as the daily routine of catching the best waves while they last. Santa teresa is also home of many celebrities. Living and vacationing there. Should I drop the names? It gets old as when you live there, you are used to seeing Giselle, Mel, and whoever else drops by, so it no longer inspires me to write about any of them. Why are you sitting in front of your pc starring at my writings? Go to edreams which has the cheapest flights, book one to CR. If you are in CR, comes to Santa Teresa. Let me know when and I let you know how! |
